Bench Hand Joiner
Salary up to £40,000 per year (Ashby-de-la-Zouch )
A fantastic opportunity to join a small family run business in Ashby-de-la-Zouch who have over 20 years’ experience within the kitchen and furniture industry.
Due to continued growth our client is looking for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to become part of their small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in making kitchens and furniture to the highest standards.
You will have a passion for making bespoke furniture and have an exceptional eye for detail. In return you will receive a competitive salary along with additional benefits.
All our client’s furniture is truly bespoke. Designed, crafted, and manufactured in the UK.
What we need form you as a Bench Hand Joiner:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in kitchens and furniture making
- Full UK Driver’s License is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ideally live in a 10-mile radius of Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Desirable but not essential:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in carpentry and joinery
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Manufacturing of bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, home studies and furniture
- Making cabinets and doors
- Operate a range of machinery and handheld tools
- Sanding & finishing
- Timber machining
- Working in a safe manner, adhering to company procedures.
Salary: up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours of work: Working full time, 43.75 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.45am - 5.00pm and Friday – 7.45am – 4.00pm – with some flexibility. Occasional Saturdays may be required.
